Mark P McAuliffe recently won the reversal of a pretrial detention order involving a  New Jersey client. The client was detained over the objections of trial counsel. Mr. McAuliffe appealed that decision and won the reversal of the judge’s decision and the release of his client under minimal supervision restrictions. The appellate court found that the trial court abused its discretion and the client was released so that he could assist in his own defense. Big win for freedom, individual rights, and due process of law.
