We recently had the privilege of representing a client at their Step-Parent Adoption hearing, a truly uplifting and meaningful milestone. The Family Court and Surrogate’s Court honored all families finalizing adoption that day with a special breakfast, and even a canine officer from the Sheriff’s Department joined in the celebration.

“There is nothing more rewarding than helping to bring stability, love, and permanency to a child’s life,” said Mark P. McAuliffe, Principal Attorney at our firm.

The proceeding itself was warm, welcoming, and inclusive. The Judge made sure every family felt supported, making the day even more special. Stories like these underscore the vital role our courts play in protecting the best interests of children and strengthening families across New Jersey.

At our firm, we handle domestic, step-parent, agency, adult, relative, and foster-care adoptions. We consider it an honor to guide families through the legal process, bringing hope, unity, and a sense of permanence into children’s lives.
